German Chocolate Cake and Cupcakes




                  German Chocolate Cake

        Wheat-free, Whole-grain, Vegan, Healthy, No Cane Sugar,
                                     No dairy, No eggs

This cake, baked in the 1/4-sheet size, was a staple of the Sunday Hollywood
Farmers Market for years.  Long the most popular cake, with customers vying for
the “corner” pieces (more frosting!), the 1/4-sheet yields 12 BIG 3” x 3”
pieces, each weighing ½ lb – not that you have to cut your pieces that big!  The
pecans and the coconut, mixed in a base of coconut milk – and not too sweet – so
there's no dizzy feeling.  And this is on top of our regular dreamy “creamy”
Chocolate Frosting!  Very satisfying, very nourishing – who knew German
Chocolate Cake could be so good for you??

Cake:  Organic whole-grain oat flour, cocoa powder, organic maple syrup, fruit
syrup (apple, peach & pear), unsweetened applesauce, tofu, potato starch,
tapioca flour, pure vanilla, baking soda, cinnamon.
Frosting:  Silken tofu, dairy-free semi-sweet chocolate chips (whole-grain
malted barley & corn, unsweetened chocolate, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, pure
vanilla), organic maple syrup.
Topping:  Unsweetened coconut milk, dried unsweetened coconut, pecans, organic
birch sweetener, soy margarine, cornstarch, pure vanilla.

Ingredients on this cake can be adjusted for gluten-free, soy-free,
diabetic-friendly, or other food allergies/preferences.
