The holiday season is upon us...

Well, the holiday season is upon us once again, and we are busy at The Bakery, as usual...

We recently had our Greenheart Dining Club dinner on Friday, November 22nd, and it was a great success. There were 31 guests at La Mariposa, and we served dinner there in The Starlight Room. There was one very unexpected problem, however --- and that was a power outtage that started just as we were serving our first course!  Our sincere thanks go to Steve and Francesca who were able to assemble and light so many candles in such a short time, thus enabling us to continue with the full dinner as planned. We were just finishing the dessert when the lights came back on at about 8:40 pm. We would like to thank all of our wonderful guests for coming, and for enduring the candlelight for almost 2 hours.

We are planning our next Dining Club event... and we are thinking that it may be a Brunch, to happen right after the New Year, as so many are occupied around Christmas time. If you would like to be added to our Dining Club list, please call me, or send us your e-mail address, thank you.

--- Speaking of Christmas: We encourage anyone who may want to order an custom items during this time to plan on placing their order with at least 7 days of lead time. Also, please have your order placed by Dec. 15th if you would like it in time for Christmas, okay?
