Happy 2015!

Our place New Year's morning.
Tucson got a surprise for New Year's:  snow.  Already melted, it is still chilly here - but will warm up next week, for which we are grateful.  We hope you have had some rest and some celebration over the holidays - we did!  We would like to thank everyone for their support during 2014 - when it was so hot, and when it was windy, and when it was raining, and when it was cold.  Thank you!

Green Heart will be at St. Phillips farmers market this Saturday and Sunday, January 3 and 4.  Remember:  everything we make is healthy - vegan, gluten-free (with one exception), whole-grain, no refined sugar, no added fat, no GMO's-- no empty calories. Almost all ingredients are organic. Here's the menu:

Pumpkin Lentil Soup
Baked Samosa Casserole w/gluten-free top crust
Tuno (Chickpea of the Sea), both sandwiches and 8 oz. containers

Meyer Lemon Tarts (lemons from a customer's tree)
Gingerbread
Frosted Cranberry Bliss Bars (the healthy version of what Starbucks offers)

Orange Coconut Pineapple Coffee Cake (& muffins)
Organic Chocolate Brownies
Diabetic-friendly Brownies
Apricot Date Bars
Molasses Ginger Cookies
Chewy Oatmeal Craisin Cookies
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Rainforest Cake

Alaine's Rainforest Cake 2 lb. loaf

And January is usually the most popular month for Rainforest Cakes, even though we mailed so many in December.  That's because many people decide to buy one for themselves - it's a delicious, healthy treat - and many use it as an energy bar - a very special energy bar!
