Spring!

We have been so busy (thank goodness!) that I have not posted since February.  We are delivering twice a week to New Life on Speedway, and hence, have stopped going to the Green Valley Farmers Market on Wednesdays.
We've made many birthday and special occasion cakes recently, many customized for special diets.

This coming weekend, March 28th and 29th, Green Heart will be at St. Phillips Plaza Farmers Market, as usual, 9 am - 1 pm.

In addition, we shall be at Dr. Michael Gregor's event, in the vegan food court on Sunday at the Loft Cinema at 3233 Speedway.  The food court is from 1 pm - 3 pm; he speaks at 3.  Cost is $20 and tickets are available at the Loft Cinema.


We will have a wide selection of cakes, pie, and uncheesecakes by the slice, in addition to our sandwiches:  sprouted organic millet lentil loaf, "tuno" aka "chickpea of the sea", and hummus with veggie slaw.  All can be packaged to take home (and enjoy later!), or can be eaten on site, in case you can't wait!

Remember - all our items our organic whole-grain, typically oat, which has 2 1/2 times the nutrients of organic whole wheat.  Everything is sweetened without cane sugar; there's no "sugar rush", and nothing's addictive, so you don't overeat.  Of course it's all vegan, and made without oil or added fats.  That's right:  it's "dessert that doesn't hurt".
