This weekend, April 18/19, we will be at St. Phillips Plaza farmers market, as usual. NEW SUMMER HOURS START SATURDAY, APRIL 18TH, 8 am to noon. Noon comes very quickly when the weather is as beautiful as it is now, so PLAN AHEAD, and don't be disappointed (by arriving too late to St. Phillips).
This weekend we will have: Chocolate Brownie Cake, Carrot Cake, Organic Fresh Strawberry Rhubarb Pie, Orange Coconut Pineapple Coffee Cakes and muffins, Blueberry Oat Bran Muffins.
Savory side: Organic Kale, Spinach, Mushroom Pie, our yummy but not hot spicy chili with corn mini-muffins, steamed red potatoes stuffed with a "kicked-up" hummus, and all 3 sandwiches: Tuno ("chickpea of the sea"), sprouted organic millet lentil loaf, and hummus veggie slaw.
As always: organic chocolate brownies, diabetic-friendly brownies, molasses ginger cookies, chewy oatmeal craisin cookies, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
On Sunday, you will also find Pear Cranberry upside down cake, gingerbread, and Coconut Snackin' Cake -- a single-layer cake with no frosting. Sweetened with organic birch, it's diabetic-friendly, and works with the Body Ecology Diet. It's gluten-free, and low-calorie, and without added fat -- and yummy for coconut lovers.
