WEEKLY Farmers' Market Menu 11/15/20

Green Heart MENU for Sunday 11/15 @ Rillito Park Farmers Market 9 am – 1 PM      

 Winter hours have begun (even though we still have early birds coming at 8 & 8:30)

Yellow Split Pea & Squash Soup

A hearty thick soup that has been very popular. (GF, SF, no added oil)


Frozen we have: Southwest Black Bean,  “Cream” of Cauliflower (1) (GF, SF, oil-free) $7 And Miso Barley (3), which is not GF but is SF and no added oil) $7


Ted’s Bean Pizza

On our white whole-wheat pizza crust, Ted layers sautéed carrots, zucchini, onions, on a tomato sauce base, and tops with a layer of black beans, and soy-free vegan mozzarella.  This is hearty, and we cut it in large squares.  (soy-free, oil-free) $10.

Tempeh Provencal

We thinly slice the tempeh and simmer it in white wine w/fresh tomatoes, garlic, artichoke hearts, Kalamata olives, and capers.  Served on top on rainbow quinoa. (GR, no onions, no oil) (the tempeh is organic soybeans and organic brown rice) $10

A la carte

Container of organic cooked quinoa (no seasoning) $5

Container of pan-steamed greens, with or w/o onions, in our house-made vegetable broth $6


Chickpea Mock “Tuna”:  8 oz container, OR on Dave’s Killer Bread (this is very low fat, as we make the “mayo” (tofu, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, Dijon, agave), and high in fiber and plant protein. $8.

Tempeh ChickUn Salad:  8 oz container, OR on Dave’s Killer Bread (we will use our tofu-based mayo for “no oil”).  (No added oil) $8

Millet Lentil Loaf:  our millet lentil loaf sliced, with our cashew cheez spread and ketchup, on Dave’s Killer Bread (SF, no added oil) $8

Yes, you may order the Millet Lentil Loaf by itself (if I get the order in time )

Seitan Reuben:  house made seitan corned “beef”, sauerkraut, Daiya Swiss, with our Russian dressing, on organic sprouted rye. $9


Healthy Desserts

Organic Carrot  Cake

(GF, no added oil) $6.50/slice

Pumpkin Uncheesecake made with fresh pumpkin, silken tofu and Better Than Cream Cheese (GF, no added oil) $6.50/slice

Raw Truffle:  Coconut Overjoy (GF, SF, no added fat) $1.75/each

Organic sprouted spelt crust Hand Pies:  Peach, Granny Smith Apple(SF) $6.50

Organic Fresh Berry Tarts (GF) $6.50

Pumpkin Mini-Pies w/spelt crust; some with oat crust $5

Pecan Tarts – same size as fruit tarts (GF) $6

Fresh Pumpkin Bars on an oat flour crust.  Ted cut up and cooked fresh pumpkin – it’s tasty!  All the spices of pumpkin pie, in a bar.  (GF, no added fat) $5



Fresh Pumpkin Pecan Scones (GF, SF, they have fat) $4

Fresh Pear Cranberry Upside Down Cake (GF, SF, no added oil) $4

Banana Walnut Bread,  Pumpkin Pecan Bread, Cranberry Orange Walnut Bread -  10 oz mini-loaves (GF), oil-free) $6.50

*New cookie:  Almond flour Chocolate Chip Cookies: these have some coconut oil in them, and they are small – we’ll put 3 in a container like the Samoa cookies. (GF, grain-free, SF) $4


Samoa Cookies – healthy version of Girl Scout classic with toasted coconut, dipped in dark chocolate (GF, SF, no added fat) $4 for 3 cookies in a pack

Oatmeal Applesauce Chocolate Chip ( GF, no added fat)

Please have your order in by Thursday night.  After that, we will try to do our best….our goal is to support you with clean healthy plant-based food.
