Southwest Black Bean Soup

Ted will make his delicious and popular black bean soup that he seasons with his epazote (he has plenty dried as his new garden is still coming up). Also, Mexican tarragon, roasted corn, red bells, some tomatoes. (GF, SF, no oil) $7

Frozen we have: 1 Pasta e Fagioli, “Cream” of Broccoli, Black-eyed Pea $7

Crab Cakes w/tartar sauce and Fried Potatoes

Lion’s Mane mushrooms from Desert Pearl Mushrooms (a local vendor at Rillito) shredded and made into crab cakes. They contain WW bread crumbs. The tartar sauce is soy-free Vegenaise based. Pan-sauteed russet potatoes on the side. (soy- free) $12..

PLEASE SPECIFY IF YOU NEED GLUTEN-FREE BREAD CRUMBS.

Pasta Pesto

w/sundried tomatoes and asparagus. We make the pesto with a roasted sunflower seed base, no oil & lots of fresh basil – lemon juice for zing. (soy, oil-free)

Choice of WW penne OR GF Banza pasta. PLEASE SPECIFY (even though you know I know if you are GF J $10.

Stuffed Red Bell Peppers

Filled with Mexican rice (pinto beans, onions, celery, cumin, chili powder, some tomato, organic brown rice). One whole pepper (not cut in half) (GF, soy- free, no added fat) $9.

Sandwiches

Chickpea Mock “Tuna”: 8 oz container, or on Dave’s Killer Bread. This is very low fat, as we make the “mayo” (tofu, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, Dijon, agave), and high in fiber and plant protein. $8. (filling is GF, oil-free)

Curried ChickUn Salad: 3 grain tempeh in a dressing of mayo and mango chutney, mixed with celery, raisins & roasted cashews. 8 oz container, or on Dave’s Killer Bread. $8.50 (filling is soy-free)

Seitan Reuben: house made seitan corned “beef”, sauerkraut, our cashew cheez spread with our Russian dressing, on organic sprouted rye. $9 (soy-free)

Millet Lentil Loaf: sprouted organic millet & lentils cooked with onion & herbs, then sliced as a loaf. On Dave’s Killer Bread w/our house made cashew cheez and ketchup. $8.50

Yes, you can order the Millet Lentil Loaf by itself. Small loaf is $12.00
