Summer Borscht w/Cucumber & Fresh Dill

Yes, organic beets, cucumbers, red bells & with coconut yogurt. Very refreshing.(Cold soup!) (GF,SF, oil-free, nut-free) $7.00

Rustic Cassoulet

Fava beans, potatoes, our vegan sausage, tomatoes, carrots, celery, butternut squash, onions, herbs, topped with garlic bread crumbs.  (SF, nut-free, there will be a small amount of olive oil with bread crumbs) $12.

Oyster Mushrooms & Broccoli

in Teriyaki Sauce

Desert Pearl provides the oyster mushrooms for our house made teriyaki sauce, using coconut aminos so it’s not too salty. Paired with broccoli and sticky rice.

(GF, soy-free, oil-free, no nuts) $12.00.

 

Nicoise Salad

Our chickpea mock “tuna” on organic greens, with steamed red potatoes, green beans, cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, Kalamata olives. Our Ranch dressing on the side (because that’s more fun than vinaigrette ;-) (GF, SF, no nuts) $9.

Sandwiches

Chickpea Mock “Tuna”:  8 oz container, OR on Dave’s Killer Bread. This is very low fat, as we make the “mayo” (tofu, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, Dijon, agave), and high in fiber and plant protein. $8. (filling is GF, oil-free)

Curried ChickUn Salad: 3 grain tempeh in a dressing of  our tofu-based mayo and mango chutney, mixed with celery, raisins & roasted cashews. 8 oz container, OR on Dave’s Killer Bread. $8.50 (filling is oil-free)

Seitan Reuben:  house made seitan corned “beef”, sauerkraut, our cashew cheez spread, with our Russian dressing, on organic sprouted rye. $10.

 

Healthy Desserts

Tiramisu by the slice (GF, SF, oil-free) 7.00 The mascarpone is made of whipped coconut cream blended with soaked cashews and maple syrup.

Carrot Cake by the slice (GF, oil-free) organic oat flour, carrots, pineapple, pecans and raisins frosted in our silken tofu – based frosting. $7.

Chocolate Cherry Parfaits – these are becoming popular as people “discover” them.  Bits of chocolate cake trim layered with organic cherries & our chocolate frosting. (GF, nut-free, no added fat) $5

Strawberry Rhubarb Mini-Pies w/streusel top (GF, SF, oil-free) 6.50 each

Peach Hand Pies in organic sprouted spelt crust $7.
