Green Heart MENU for Sunday 9/12

@ Rillito Park Farmers market

Please have your order in by THURSDAY NIGHT. (we always do our best to fulfill later orders)

Tomato Coconut Lentil Soup

One of our most popular soups:  brown lentils, fire-roasted tomatoes, red bells, cilantro, coconut milk, Indian spices. (GF, SF, no oil or nuts) $7.

Frozen:  Mushroom Barley, Corn Chowder  $7

Roasted (Mild) Green Chili Casserole

Layers of corn tortillas, filled with mashed russet potatoes and sweet potatoes, in a red sauce, accented with mild green chilis.  Topped with our Sunflower Seed “Crema” that has garlic and fresh lime juice.  (GF, SF, no oil or nuts) $12

Organic Quinoa Sushi Bowl

Quinoa, edamame, nori, radishes, carrots, cucumbers w/a dressing of fresh orange, ginger, miso, rice vinegar. (No onion, GF, no oil). $9.




Chickpea Mock “Tuna”:  8 oz container, OR on Dave’s Killer Bread. This is very low fat, as we make the “mayo” (tofu, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, Dijon, agave), and high in fiber and plant protein. $8. (filling is GF, oil-free)

Tempeh ChickUn Salad:  8 oz container, OR on Dave’s Killer Bread (we use soy-free Vegenaise in the dressing). $8.50

BBQ Jackfruit on a “Bun”:  Jackfruit dry-sauteed and marinated in our house-made BBQ sauce, with our cashew cheez spread on an Ezekiel English muffin, masquerading as a healthy bun. $8.50 (GF, SF, no added oil)

The sautéed jackfruit in our BBQ sauce can also be ordered “a la carte”, sans “bun”.

Seitan Reuben:  house made seitan corned “beef”, sauerkraut, Daiya Swiss, with our Russian dressing, on organic sprouted rye. $10

Healthy Desserts

Apple Spice Cake w/Maple Frosting by the slice: organic whole-grain oat flour, no added oil or fat, gently sweetened with  maple syrup; walnuts & raisins $7/slice ( frosting is soy-based)

Organic Chocolate Cupcakes filled with whipped coconut cream, and frosted in Vanilla Coconut Frosting, and topped with toasted coconut. (GF, no oil, no nuts) $4.50

Organic Chocolate Raspberry Tarts (GF, small amount of oil in tart crust, nut-free) $7.  Organic raspberries set in our chocolate “cream”, drizzled with melted chocolate.

Almond Overjoy Truffles (raw & rolled in coconut) $2/each, or 3/$5


Pumpkin Pecan Scone:  yes, with the spices. (GF, SF) $4.

Chocolate Glazed (baked) Donuts (GF, no added oil) 4.00

Banana Walnut Bread, Zucchini Walnut Bread.  (GF, no added oil)  $7.

Cookies & Bars

Chispa Meal Bar: dates, almond butter, prunes, pineapple, cranberries, Turkish apricots, Blenheim apricots, almonds, walnuts, pecans, quinoa flour, brown rice flour, ginger pieces, cinnamon, orange zest, dark chocolate mini-chips, flax seeds, inulin, glucomannan powder, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, vanilla. 3 oz. This is designed to be a meal as it is very filling, as well as nourishing. $4.50

Apricot Date Bars (GF, SF, no added oil) date syrup-sweetened 4.50

Organic Chocolate Brownies (GF, no added oil) agave/maple-sweetened 4.50

*Samoa Cookies* dipped in chocolate; healthy version of the Girl Scout cookies 3 small cookies in container (SF, GF, no nuts) $4.

Oatmeal Applesauce w/Chocolate Chip (SF, GF, no added fat, no nuts) 4.50

“New” Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie made with almond flour and almond butter. (SF, GF, the almond butter is the “fat”) $4.50

Chocolate Chip Pecan (SF, GF) 4.50

Molasses Ginger (GF, no nuts) 4.00

Lemon Bars (GF, sweetened with organic birch) $5

Magic Bars (grain-free, GF, SF, oil-free) 5.00


Grain-free, Low-carb Choices:

Wedding Cookies:  almond flour, ground walnuts, sweetened with monkfruit/erythritol. $4.

Lemon (No) Sugar Cookies: almond flour, coconut oil, monkfruit, fresh lemon (GF, SF) 3 in a pack $4

Organic Brown Rice & Hemp Krispie Treats: org puffed brown rice, almond butter, date syrup, coconut oil, hemp seeds $4.
