Menu for Rillito Park Farmers Market Sunday 1/30, 9 am - 1 pm

Roasted Leek & Potato Soup

Ted will improve upon a recipe that I got while working at Blue Willow years agoJ (GF, SF, small amount of olive oil)  $7.50

Frozen:  only a couple Zesty Vegetable (w/pozole) $7.

 

Shepherd’s Pie

Assorted vegetables(cauliflower, broccoli, lima beans, peas, carrots,& white beans in our sage & thyme seasoned gravy (almond milk base), topped with a sweet potato “crust”. (GF, SF, oil-free) $11.00. *no mushrooms*

Oyster Mushrooms & Broccoli in Teriyaki Sauce

Oyster mushrooms in our house made teriyaki sauce, using coconut aminos so it’s not too salty & also soy-free. Paired with broccoli and organic brown jasmine rice.  (GF, soy-free, oil-free, no nuts) $12.00.

Sandwiches

Chickpea Mock “Tuna”:  8 oz container, or on Dave’s Killer Bread. This is very low fat, as we make the “mayo” (tofu, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, Dijon, agave), and high in fiber and plant protein. $8. (filling is GF, oil-free)

Curried ChickUn Salad: 3 grain tempeh in a dressing of mayo and mango chutney, mixed with celery, raisins & roasted cashews. 8 oz container, or on Dave’s Killer Bread. $9.00 (filling is oil-free)

BBQ Jackfruit on a “Bun”: Jackfruit dry-sauteed and marinated in our house-made BBQ sauce, with our cashew cheez spread on an Ezekiel English muffin (acting as a healthy bun.) $9.00 (SF, no added oil)

Seitan Reuben:  house made seitan corned “beef”, sauerkraut, our house made cashew cheez, with our Russian dressing, on organic sprouted rye. $10

 

Healthy Desserts

Organic Carrot Cake: org. whole grain oat flour, carrots, pineapple, pecans & raisins – agave- sweetened, and frosted in our silken tofu-based vanilla cream cheez frosting (GF, no added oil) $7/slice

Fresh Pear & Cranberry Upside Down Cake (GF, SF, no added fat, no nuts) $5/slice

Cranberry Bliss Bars (GF, oil-free) a bar made with organic whole grain oat flour, with a touch of orange zest, tart fresh cranberries & walnuts, sweetened w/coconut sugar & topped with vanilla cream cheez frosting (tofu-based) 4.50

Toasted Hazelnut Truffles: dates, toasted hazelnuts, cacao. Raw & delicious. $2 each; 3/$5

Organic Apple Hand Pies:  in an organic sprouted spelt crust. The apples are mildly sweetened w/agave. (soy-free, nut-free) $7.00

Organic Peach Hand Pies $7.00

Alaine’s Rainforest Cake – a loaf made of Brazil nuts, dates, 2 kinds of dried apricots, pineapple, raisins, craisins, fresh orange zest, agave and brown rice flour. 

By the slice $4;  the 1 lb. loaf $22, or 2 lb loaf $35

Breakfast

Organic Blue Corn & Blueberry Muffins:  we mill blue corn we ordered from NM & blend it with our oat flour for a hearty Southwest flavor.  (GF, SF, no added oil) $4.50

Date Walnut Scones w/TEFF flour.  Repeating the teff scones I made in December.  (GF, SF) $4.

Chocolate Glazed (baked) Donuts (GF, SF, oil-free, no nuts) 4.00

Banana Walnut 10 oz Loaves, (GF, SF, no added oil) 7.00 This week they will be make w/o tofu in the batter.

Pumpkin Pecan  Loaves 10 oz. (GF, SF, no added oil) 7.00 (will be made w/o silken tofu in batter)

 

Cookies & Bars

*Samoa Cookies* dipped in chocolate; healthy version of the Girl Scout cookies 3 small cookies in container (SF, GF, no nuts) $4.

Meyer Lemon Bars:  set in an organic whole-grain oat flour crust, sweetened with organic birch (diabetic-friendly & low calorie). (GF, no added fat) $5

Magic Bars:  on top of an almond flour crust, layers of chopped dates, pecans, coconut set in coconut milk, and topped with chocolate chips.  (GF, SF, no added fat) $5.

Oatmeal Applesauce w/Chocolate Chip (SF, GF, no added fat, no nuts) 4.50

Chocolate Chip Pecan (SF, GF) 4.50

Molasses Ginger (GF, no nuts) 4.50

“New” Oatmeal Cookies, made w/almond flour & almond butter. (Grain-free, soy-free, no added oil) $4.50
