Southwest Black Bean Soup
Ted will make his delicious and popular black bean soup that he seasons with his epazote (he has plenty dried as his new garden is still coming up). Also, Mexican tarragon, roasted corn, red bells, some tomatoes. (GF, SF, no oil) $7.50
Frozen we have: “Cream” of Cauliflower, Zesty Veggie w/Posole $7
Crab Cakes w/tartar sauce and Fried Potatoes
Lion’s Mane mushrooms shredded and made into crab cakes. They contain WW bread crumbs. The tartar sauce is soy-free Vegenaise based. Pan-sauteed russet potatoes on the side, & a bit of coleslaw. (soy-free) $12.
PLEASE SPECIFY IF YOU NEED GLUTEN-FREE BREAD CRUMBS.
Stuffed Red Bell Peppers
Filled with Mexican rice (pinto beans, onions, celery, cumin, chili powder, some tomato, organic brown rice). One whole pepper (not cut in half) (GF, soy-free, no added fat) $11.
Chickpea Mock “Tuna”: 8 oz container, or on Dave’s Killer Bread. This is very low fat, as we make the “mayo” (tofu, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, Dijon, agave), and high in fiber and plant protein. $8. (filling is GF, oil-free)
*New* Roasted Veggie Sandwich: zucchini, portabello mushrooms, red bells, yellow squash, sweet onions – all roasted. On toasted bread with our pesto mayo and hummus. (SF, nut-free) $9.50
Seitan Reuben: house made seitan corned “beef”, sauerkraut, our cashew cheez spread with our Russian dressing, on organic sprouted rye. $10 (soy-free)
Millet Lentil Loaf: sprouted organic millet & lentils cooked with onion & herbs, then sliced as a loaf. On Dave’s Killer Bread w/our house made cashew cheez and ketchup. $9.
